Hi all. My name is Jennifer Sparaco. You might recognize me as the instructor of the super, duper popular and unbelievably fun sign classes at the Speckled Feather Mercantile. I’m mom to the four most loving, kind-hearted and fun kids in the world, married to a man who is the love of my life, and I’m surrounded by the absolute best group of family and friends a girl could be blessed with! I use too many exclamation points!!!, I am a secret reality tv junkie, the daughter of a pilot and deathly afraid to fly, think grasshoppers are creatures of evil and could eat McDonald’s French fries until the end of time! I love to laugh, am a Pinterest-aholic, my useless superpower is a steady hand and I’m now the proud owner of a little store in Denver Colorado…Ella Dale Vintage!
Yes sir-eee, thanks to a great start at SFM and the suggestion of a crazily creative friend two years ago (you know who you are Denise Groves 😘), I’ve turned a little hobby into a dream shop! Ella Dale was named after my two daughters, my partners in crime, both with a mean eye for a great garage sale. It’s a place to be creative and to get away from the stresses of life for a bit, for both myself and all who visit!
Most days I can be found at e.d.v., located at the beginning of the Arts District on Santa Fe, in Denver, CO, on 6th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive, painting signs, sanding furniture or teaching classes. The shop is my second home and has all sorts of vintage finds, re-loved furniture and of course an amazing selection of Sweet Pickins Milk Paint and products…which might be the best thing to happen to vintage since butter to bread!
The shop has an amazing workspace filled with old dining room tables and antique chairs, an overhead garage door and me…singing along (badly) to country music! Of course we have brought our It’s A Sign classes to Denver and have added a few other great options for anybody looking for a unique birthday celebration, a fun GNO, a mommy and me date night or a corporate event!
Feel free to stop by and see us at 629 Santa Fe Drive or check out or Facebook page at www.facebook.com/elladalevintage, which always has our upcoming events, fun links and pictures of new treasures brought to the store.
Many thanks to SFM for their support, to not only me, but so many other local artists! I will continue to return monthly to SFM, teaching classes, carrying milk paint and visiting with friends, old and new!
✌🏻️, ❤️ and all things vintage!!
